Concept Set Definitions
Concept set definitions are used for defining the constraint domain and the range of acceptable values and types of a relationship predicate.
The MRCM PG release includes concept set definitions defined by specifying a concept and whether to include its descendants. In addition to these, two more concept set definition types are added: Reference Set and Enumerated concept set definition.
Type of concept set definitions:
Concept Set Definition | Description |
Hierarchial | Select a specific concept and the inclusion type (self, descendant, or self and descendants) |
Relationship | Apply to concepts that have the specified relationship. Stated and additional relationships are also considered |
Reference Set | Include all the members of a particular Reference Set. This is quite useful in practice for dynamically building Reference Set Editors based upon their relationship, description, and concrete datatype constraints |
Enumerated | Include the set of explicitly specified concepts |
