# Link with Editor

You can connect the SNOMED CT Editor to the SNOMED CT View. If the *Link view with editor* button ![](https://snowowl.atlassian.net/wiki/download/thumbnails/611025384/worddav8acc5e29ad2aa00cae64391c2afff755.png?version=1\&modificationDate=1578324619908\&cacheVersion=1\&api=v2\&width=21) is activated, the concept that is selected in the editor is also highlighted in the SNOMED CT tree allowing you to see where it's located in the hierarchy.

Pressing the button again will disconnect the editor from the view.
