Perform Upgrade
1️⃣ Start Snow Owl and select the Code System which has available upgrades from the Code System Selector.
2️⃣ Navigate to the Code Systems View and double click on the Code System which has an available upgrade to reveal its properties in an Editor.
3️⃣ Press the Upgrade Code System... button and chose the Code Systems that take part in the upgrade process. Then press Finish to start the upgrade process.
Field | Description |
Upgrade Version | The international Code System's version (the Code System with the incoming) |
Code System Version | The dependent Code System's version (the Code System which receives the incoming changes) |
Code System ID | The Id of the temporary Code System where the upgrade will be finalized |
It is suggested to perform the upgrade on a versioned Code System, for this reason, the Code System Version is always set to the latest extension Code System version. Although, if needed, the non-versioned Code System itself can be selected as well.
4️⃣ A dialog opens after the successful upgrade Code System creation. As it suggests to maintain the newly created Code System restart the Snow Owl client and select the Code System with the formerly defined Code System ID.
