# Bookmarks View

Components that are outstanding for a certain reason (e.g. frequent use, high priority, etc.) can be bookmarked for future reference.

{% hint style="info" %}
Bookmarkable components range from concepts, descriptions, through codes from other classifications, Local Code System codes, and Reference Sets.
{% endhint %}

You can add a description to the bookmarked component that helps you identify the bookmarked component or the reason for bookmarking more easily. The descriptions will appear in the description column of the Bookmarks View.

{% hint style="info" %}
You can add or change descriptions directly in the Bookmarks View by clicking in the field.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
To open the editor of a bookmarked component, just double-click on it in the list.
{% endhint %}

Bookmarked components receive a small blue (bookmark) decorator on top of their icon making it easy to recognize them in their corresponding view.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.b2ihealthcare.com/snow-owl-authoring-platform/introduction/user-interface/views/bookmarks-view.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
