# Create

Users can create new Code Systems from the main [Resources page](https://docs.b2ihealthcare.com/snowray/v3.2/reference/resources).

Selecting the Code System option after pressing the ![](https://content.gitbook.com/content/ecIrdZnsDkSPypTQNKj0/blobs/Yq3LTnO27hZeuC9oBwvB/new_resource_button.png)resource button reveals the *Create a new* [*Code System*](https://docs.b2ihealthcare.com/snowray/v3.2/reference/resources/codesystems) section in place of the resource type selection panel. Once the required fields are populated, users can proceed with generating the Code System by pressing the ![](https://content.gitbook.com/content/ecIrdZnsDkSPypTQNKj0/blobs/B1bS65w0OM0F3BQKgihC/create_button.png)button.

| Field     | Description                                                                                                                         |
| --------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Title** | The title of the Code System (mandatory)                                                                                            |
| **ID**    | The identifier of the Code System. If you leave this field empty, the system will automatically generate an ID for your Code System |
