Export
To Excel
To export a Value Set to an Excel file, go to:
📤 File > Export > Snow Owl > Value Sets to Excel file,
click Next
.
📤 Specify the file name and file path, click Next
to proceed.
📤 On the next page, all the Value Sets are listed, check the boxes to select for export. You may filter for a specific Value Set. Hit Next
to start the export.
After the export, you will be presented with a link to the export file.
The Value Set is exported in a standard format. Different Value Sets are filed in separate worksheets, an index sheet is generated in the first tab of the spreadsheet to allow easy navigation between the tabs.
To HTML
To export a Value Set to an Excel file, go to:
📤 File > Export > Snow Owl > Value Sets to Excel HTML
, click Next
.
📤 On the next page, all the Value Sets are listed, check the boxes to select for export. and hit Next
.
📤 On the next page, you can choose an HTML template. Snow Owl has a built-in that you can use, just simply choose Saved template
option and browse for it.
📤 Hit Next
to give a file path. On the following page hit Next
again to start the export. After the export, the export HTML file will open automatically in the built-in browser of Snow Owl.
To UMLS SVS XML format
Value Sets can be exported in Sharing Value Sets (SVS) format. This allows exporting Value Sets that make use of the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS).
To export a Value Set go to:
📤 File > Export > Snow Owl > Value sets to UMLS SVS XML file
, click Next
.
📤 Specify the file name and path, click Next
to proceed.
📤 On the next page, all the Value Sets are listed, check the boxes to select for export. Hit Next
to start the export.
After the export, you will be presented with a link to the export file.
To XML format
Value Sets can be exported in XML format.
To export a Value Set go to:
📤 File > Export > Snow Owl > Value Sets to XML file
, click Next
.
📤 On the next page, all the Value Sets are listed, check the boxes to select for export.
📤 Specify the file name and path, click Next
to proceed.
📤 Hit Next
to start the export.
After the export, you will be presented with a link to the export file.
