Once the task is created, it needs to be activated. Only one task can be active at the same time. In case a task is active and you activate another one, the previously activated task will be inactivated.
If a task is active, you can see a green circle in the top right corner of the Task Editor and the given task appears as bold in the Task List View.
Tasks can be activated in two different ways:
Clicking the grey circle on the top right corner of the Task Editor
Activate task by clicking on the grey circle in the editor toolbar
Right-clicking on the given task in the Task List View and selecting the Activate Task option in the Context Menu.
Activate task using the Context Menu action in the Task Navigator
Active branch displayed in the status bar
Task ID and summary are displayed in the status bar when working on a task. Double-clicking on this info opens the Task Editor.
A task can be inactivatedby
Clicking the green circle in the top right corner of the Task Editor
Right-clicking on the given task in the Task List View and selecting Deactivate Task Context Menu option
