# Advanced Clause Editor

Experienced users might switch to the Advanced Clause Editor by clicking on the <img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/rPmvkRL7jgReSYN2dCHS/blobs/XRksJeiz3tWOPxgLXW5D/advanced_clause_editor_icon.svg" alt="" data-size="line"> icon, in order to construct [ECL](https://confluence.ihtsdotools.org/display/DOCECL) queries with the help of the content assist.
