Value Sets

Value sets may be used to create subsets of a code system resource's items. They have the same functionality as Snomed CT reference sets thus can be used instead of them. They contain clauses that can be included in or excluded from the value set. Clauses are ECL (Expression Constraint Language) queries constructed by users or Snowray.
🧐 Can't find a resource? Please visit the Find a Resource section.
Concepts that are part of the value set can be browsed after navigating to the Members tab, where a counter displays the number of members involved. A filter bar at the top of the section eases the way of searching for specific members.
For more information about filtering check out the Searching Concepts section.
Each member is linked to its concept's detail page.
Visit them by clicking on the member. To navigate back to the value set, press the arrow located in the upper left corner.
A value set selected from the resources list can be authored by pressing thebutton in the upper right corner, which navigates users to the value set authoring platform. When defining value set clauses, users either need to construct ECL queries or simply drag and drop concepts from the concept tree to the desired section, i.e. Includes or Excludes.
