Compare

In order to reveal differences, users have the option to compare Value Sets or Value Set releases.

To start the comparison, select your resource, navigate to the Releases page, and press thebutton next to the version to compare.

Comparing Value Set Versions

Once navigated to the compare page, the selection can be modified in the header area, e.g. to run a new comparison between other versions, or even between two different value sets.

To compare different value sets, simply change the Value Set in either the base or the target filter box and select another one from the resources instead.

🎨 Coloring

The comparison always has a direction, which is represented by the arrow between the selected resources base➡️target.

Directions of Comparing

Color	Description
📕 Red	The clause is present in the base Value Set, but it is NOT present in, i.e. is removed from the target Value Set.
📗 Green	The clause is NOT present in the base Value Set, but it is present in, i.e. is added to the target Value Set.
🧾 White	The clause is present in both of the Value Sets.
