Merge
Snowray enables merging the content of one value set into another. Clauses from the inclusion and exclusion sections of the selected value set will be added to the target value set's corresponding sections.
Users have two options to perform a merge action: either by merging value sets into an existing one or by merging value sets into a newly created one. start editing the value set to merge into, then press the button and select the value set to merge from.
For now, only three value sets can be merged at a time into another or a new value set.
Merge existing value sets
The merge action for existing value sets can be accessed in editing mode only. Pressing the merge button will open a new window where the value sets to merge caluses from can be specified.
No new value set will be created in this case, but clauses from the selected value sets will be added to the value set, which is being edited.
Merge upon creation
The merge option during creation can be accessed after specifying a CodeSystem on the value set create page. Clicking in the filter box next to Merge from enables searching for specific value sets, which can be selected for merging. Clauses of the selected value sets will automatically be added to the newly created resource.
