Clone Mapping Sets

Mapping Sets can also be cloned if no splitting is required. There are two ways of cloning a Mapping Set:

by copying only the sources of the selected Mapping Set → using the Clone... action
by populating the targets as well → using the Clone with targets... action

Both actions can be reached from the Context Menu after right-clicking on the desired Mapping Set.

Only active members are considered in these actions, inactive mappings will not be cloned.

The action brings up the dedicated Clone Mapping Set Wizard where the target Mapping Set properties can be specified.

The name field is pre-populated with the naming pattern: OriginalMappingSetName_clone

The pre-populated name can be modified.

The pre-populated name can be modified.

Clicking Finish in the wizard will generate the new Mapping Set, which will be listed in the Mapping Set View.
