Context Menu

The most frequent actions for navigation and editing are available in the Context Menu of the SNOMED CT View, which you can invoke by right-clicking on a concept in the view.

Always available options:

Menu Item	Description
Add new child concept	Creates a child of the selected concept with identical SNOMED CT descriptions
Add new sibling concept	Creates a copy of the selected concept that is placed in the same hierarchical level
Set concept as root	Displays sub-hierarchy with the selected concept as the root
Inactivate concept	Inactivates the selected concepts. Before inactivation, the affected components are displayed for review
Add bookmark	Bookmarked concepts will be indicated by a small bookmark decorator and can be retrieved from the Bookmarks View

Additional options if a Reference Set Editor is active:

Menu Item	Description
Add concept to the active Reference Set	Adds the selected concept to the open Reference Set
Add concept and descendants to the active Reference Set	Adds the selected concept and descendants to the open Reference Set
Add concept descendants only to the active Reference Set	Adds the selected concept descendants to the open Reference Set

Additional options if a Value Set Editor is active:

Menu Item	Description
Add concept to the active Value Set as inclusion	Adds the selected concept to the inclusion section of the open Value Set
Add concept descendants to the active Value Set as inclusion	Adds the selected concept descendants to the inclusion section of the open Value Set
Add concept to the active Value Set as exclusion	Adds the selected concept to the exclusion section of the open Value Set
Add concept descendants to the active Value Set as exclusion	Adds the selected concept descendants to the exclusion section of the open Value Set

Additional options if a Mapping Set Editor is active:

Menu Item	Description
Add concept to the active Mapping Set as source	Adds the selected concept to the open Mapping Set as source
Add concept descendants to the active Mapping Set as source	Adds the selected concept descendants to the open Mapping Set as source

The additional Context Menu options are only available if the related editor is active.
